END OF MESSAGE

Thank you gentlemen in the great city Philly!  I have received many warm responses! I am looking forward to my visit! What's HOT?

I have a question,  what are the best restaurants and bars around town?

Thanks for letting me post..

Try around rittenhouse square, ROGUE, Midtown Continential, both fun places for drinks

on walnut st between like 15 - 17th before
rit house square, there are a number of real fine restaurants, striped bass , le bec fin, alma de cuba, etc. taquillas ( sp)  on locust st is great for mexican, morimoto for sushi on chestnut between 7 & 8th

If your feelin a bit more casual go to the area of 2nd and chestnut...the old city bars are usually jumpin from thurs nite thru the weekend...and don't forget south street from front street to about 6th is a party at nite when the weather's nice.

I appreciate your kindness!  Thanks!

What purpose is there to a trip into Phillie without at least 1 cheesesteak?   Who would think of going to Paris without seeing the Louvre?

Pat's, Jim's, Geno's.....get a provolone with

And then, what about a soft pretzel with mustard? And a Tastykake for dessert?

I was at an interesting Hawaiian fusion place the other week called Roy's.  I'd like to eat there again.

Also had a nice steak at Davio's.

Then there is a Brazillian Barbeque place that serves a range of entree meats tableside, sliced off the spit.

Or you could go overboard and go to the ballpark and watch the Phillies and stuff a hotdog into  your gullet and wash it down with a beer.

Or get into South Phillie for some Italian, but sit with your back to the wall so you can watch the babes who apply their makeup with a spraycan.

What's hot?   Depends.  Where are you gonna be?
