It is getting very scary out there almost got busted @ Philly Mansion a few days ago, I was walking into the place as the police were taking my date out the door. Anyone know why the police have gotten so agressive. 1st Morgan's Mansion and now Philly Mansion. What can you do to protect yourself? From now on I am only going to places where there is one client and one provider. Cann't go agency right now. Any thoughts?
The two busts were related. Morgan's got pinched simply because guys kept knocking on the wrong door, which happened to be inhabited by someone who has a connection to the DA's office. When she got locked up, Morgan blew the whistle on her former friend & co-worker Victoria of Philly Mansion, probably thinking that Victoria had fingered her to the boys in blue. I do not believe that there is any sort of city-wide sting going on, since these two high-profile cases should give the Philadelphia PD enough credibility regarding their rep for cracking down on the industry for quite a while. However, it is ALWAYS best to lean to the side of caution, so it may be wise to stay clear of the agencies for a little while.
I agree with CarltonS. Morgan's and Philly Mansion both are/were related. I personally do not believe there is anything to worry about as far as future stings goes. I agree with Carlton in regard to the Philly PD having enough high profile busts to satisfy their superiors. The only thing I disagree with Carlton is that if you are worried about getting busted as a "John" I would just stay away from the "incall" providers. I would try outcall providers. I don't believe you should have to worry about staying away from an agency as long as they are outcall. Just my thoughts in my humble opinion.

I should have worded myself better. For this I am sorry as I do not try to mislead anyone. What I said was that the two were related. Related in the sense that they both used to work together and had a bit of a nasty rivalry between both agency's after the split up. This I know because I knew both of them personally (in the past). But have not spoken to either of them in the past 6 months or so. That is what I meant by related. I didn't mean I knew for fact if one dimed the other out. That I do not know. But from the conversations I have had with them in the past makes me curious. I am sure I will never know. Once again, I apologize if I mislead anyone. I would never purposely try to do a malicious act such as tarnishing ones name by making false statements.

I wanted to tell Joe and the other readers that the reason I say with such certainty that the two busts (Morgan's & Philly Mansion) were connected was my knowledge of the principles involved and their respective history. In fact, one of the Philly Mansion girls subsequently informed me that when she was being led away by LE that the arresting officer said "you can thank your friend Morgan for this". Is any other evidence needed?
As we all know, this business/hobby is as much about information & intelligence as is trading on the stock market; moreso, actually, since a bad stock trade will only cost you money, while a bad tip here will not only cost you money but you may also wind up with a police record and your photo featured rather dubiously in a newspaper story, like what happened in Kensington about a year or so ago. Like Dr. Evil said, "throw me a bone here; I need the info." And, finally, like Sgt. Esterhaus used to say in Hill Sttreet Blues, "Let's be careful out there."
AMPs are busted from time to time, specially in the suburb area, because they draw too much attention. I've never seen so many non-AMP raids in such a short time in my 7 years of hobbying. I guess staying with hotel incalls is safer if one does the research to avoid booking LE. The permanent incall places are vulnerable, sepecially there are only a couple conspicuous ones left in the city.
