In another thread, which was interupted by some tirade, the question was asked how much was Spritzer's provider Kristen worth. I thouht that was a great question, as I have thought Spritzer paid entirely too much. The providers on this board are way better than his provider, yet Kristen was way more expensive. I have always wondered what makes a provider go from $xxx to $x,xxx an hour.

By my estimation, Kristen was not worth more than the going rate of the providers on Eros.

According to the FBI transcripts he paid a total of $2800 for the actual encounter, and an additional $1500 in cash that was to be a 'credit' on his account for future trysts.

$2800 for a 3 hour date, plus her travel expenses and a total of 4 hours travel time is about par for the course. That puts her rate at around $400 or maybe a little higher.

I believe it was only a 2 hour date.  The round trip time from NY to DC is at least 8 hours, plus she has to spend a night in DC hotel which runs into $200+ a night.  Her travel expense is about $500, so she is netting about $230 an hour for 10 hour time.  This is pretty much in line with regular provider net rate, except that Kristin saw one client, regular providers pack 8 to 10 clients daily.

It's all how you count it.  If he got the travel time "free", then he paid a lot by the hour for "work".  

As for the general question of an appropriate price for her services, the only answer is whatever someone is willing to pay that she's willing to accept.  How much anybody here would be willing to part with for an hour of her company is irrelevant.  

Some people will pay the freight for 76ers tickets.  Others can't see how they're worth anywhere near that (at least this year).  So what are Sixers tickets worth?
