Hello!

I am planning to visit early June and was looking for advice on where to stay.  Are some neighborhoods more convenient than others?

I love most when I have a jacuzzi tub in my suite, any suggestions? PM's are welcome, please do not post hotel names here, thank you!

Should I get a rental car or do you have good public transportation, and is the city easy to navigate?

What would you consider a "must see" for a first time Philadelphia visitor?

And... drumroll... as important as anything else... what restaurant has the best eggs benedict?

Thank you for your time and thoughts!

xoxo,
Sola

Wow, enticing pix on your website! I am up for your visit. Downtown Philly is in a fairly compact area, you can get around by public transport or walking. I suggest do Expedia for hotels, look at the Map View and you can see where many are clustered in Center City.  If you want to meet the really nice, handsome gents (!!) I suggest you make your way to King of Prussia (KOP), outside town a bit, need a car, great shopping, many nice hotels/motels. The KOP Mall would be considered a must-see by many, but be careful, unless you have strong sales resistance you might spend all your hard-earned $$$$... Maybe do both locations?.. Eggs Benedict? The Hotel Dupont in downtown WIlmington, a bit of a hike.

Thank you for the kind words and helpful advice!

After reviewing everything sent to me...
I have revised my dates visiting to be 5/24-5/26 and will have a lovely room downtown which seems to avail me leisurely exloration of the best that the city has to offer.  I'll avoid KOP as I don't like driving in unknown cities and I'm not much of a shopper.

We do have pretty good transportation.  BUT, if you wish to do more than one local, I would suggest a car.  But for the most part  if you only stay downtown, taxi's,  walking and public transit during the day are pretty good bets.

if you see me walking down the street, please stop me to say hello... I'll be the green dude - with the stupid grin on my square boxy face - and ya know, the blue cape and red and blue leotards....

Oh, and please take in a Phillies game.... they need all the help they can get.

lol!  I love this city!

Bizzaro,

And a man in leotards and a cape?  Mmmmm... fun!
; )

Thank you again for taking the time to send so much info my way!
