Sometimes things happen and you can't help it.  The important thing is that when an appointment is missed the two parties get in touch and understand what happened.  It sounds like that occurred.  Hopefully you two will get together - After all, make-up sex is some of the best.

I had a 5:00 scheduled with her today and she was a NCNS?!?  I'm hoping she is not sick, hurt, in danger, in the slammer, etc?

I filled out her contact form 2 days ago.  We emailed back and forth yesterday and set an appointment.  She said she would email me the location today but never did.  As I said I would, I called to confirm but only got a full mialbox not accepting any new messages.  I called several times beginning at 3:00 up until 10 minutes before our scheduled time.

...again, hope she's ok???  If anyone hears anything from her, please post to confirm she is safe.

before submitting a missing persons report. I mean come on Joe... only 2hrs after your appointment . I see you might be concerned "I'm hoping she is not sick, hurt, in danger, in the slammer, etc"  But give the lady the courtesy to at least get back to you before posting her business on a public board.

"She said she would email me the location today but never did."

"As I said I would, I called to confirm but only got a full mialbox not accepting any new messages."

also IMHO this is NOT a NCNS.  By your own admission YOU were supposed to call her today to CONFIRM. and She was supposed to e-mail you the location(which she did not)

So it looks like me you guys had a tentative appointment. Not confirmed  therefore not a NCNS

I disagree. That's a NCNS. I do agree that maybe he should have waited to post, but the call to confirm is a courtesy call and he made the call, she didn't answer or could accept the message. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the concern. NCNS is not something typical of my behavior and those who know me can vouch for me. I had an issue today which prevented me from seeing Joeschlump ...and I have since sent an email.

As we all know, things happen. I apologized for not being able to meet, though I know I should have done so sooner. I accept and agree that I was wrong.

Since this has turned public, I should add that I did NOT send him to a hotel and leave him hanging. We had agreed to meet via email, but I didn't respond with the location.  I don't mean to justify my mistake...but sometimes I wish people would cut me a little slack.  I deal with a lot of great people and a lot of difficult people  as well...and regardless, I still keep a smile on my face. Hell,I've driven 2 hours to see someone before, arrived at their door, and then they didn't answer!!

I rarely like to make public posts such as this because I think it's not necessary. There are times when I want to rip someones head off, but I try to remember that things could always be worse.  If I didnt see things that way I'd be miserable, and that's no way to be.

All in all, I'm sorry. When I say it, I mean it. And lets leave it at that.

Kisses,
Keilani

It sounds to me like the guy was more concerned for your safety then having the appointment cancelled.
I don't think he meant to make your business public or make you look bad, I think he just really cares for you. Just my interpretation.

with chris on this one, it's NOT a NCNS.  There was no email to confirm.

Guys, can't we give the ladies at least a day or two before we go public with our bitching and complaining when maybe there's a reasonable explanation.
