its a wart.  spread by virus.  it can be burned off with a hot needle by a dermatologist.  if u have a steady hand u can do it yourself... in theory.

yeah, i had it about 15 years ago..definitely a virus..3 or 4 visits to dermatologist and some medication does the trick.never a sign of it again..
