Hello Ladies,

I will be visiting your great city next week (will post on the ad board Thursday), but in the meantime, I am trying to find a few good vintage/consignment pocketbook, jewelry stores in the Center City area.  Do they exist, and if so, what are a few of your favorites?  Thank you in advance.

I hope y'all have safe, and fabulous 4th!

Hugs,
Kelly

Antique row is between 12th and 10th on Pine Street

And south street between 8th and 5th (about, it keeps growing) is a cool shopping district, mostly hipster, but still cool, there may be some "vintage there"

.....I might leave Philly poorer than when I arrived!  Is this area also cool for breakfast/ bistros, etc?  I try to stay away from chains

Hugs and Kisses,
Kelly

not very well versed in restaurants, but for breakfast I think the down home diner in reading terminal is a good choice.  It's tucked in the corner so you get the diner feel, but it's in the terminal so you can cruse the terminal.  There is also an Amish diner as well, kind of a counter side thing.   Home cooking, but a little crowed.

Don't for get the museums, the Rodin was just remodeled and opened, the art museum is really nice, and they just moved a collection from the suburbs to CC, very controversial, but a nice collection. The orchestra is nice as well, so is Verizon Hall.

Hi Kelly, Richard Kenneth Jewelry at 202 South 17th st has an amazing selection-just check out the store window...an amazing feast for the eyes. Have fun!

.....I will check it out!  I might be staying an extra day, to entertain, and shop.  I never realized that Philly had such cool shops.  I build my tours around my private sector profession, and rarely get out and about.

Hugs,
Kelly

I used to live in Philly and I shopped consignment. Greene St. Consignment wasn't bad but not sure how high end you are looking for.  Green st. is 7th & South.  The Rittenhouse square area is sure to have a few. Try Second Time Around  - 17th and Chestnut.

I will be in Philly next week as well form the 11 - 13.. Hope you have  a great trip!
