Unless you were staying right in the city of Reading, in which there are not many hotels,, most are in Wyomissing and burbs.. Why would the Reading Police monitor anyone??? They have a shooting a day to deal with.. I think someone was playing with you....

I got my start in Reading, and had an agency in Reading for many years. The reading PD are too damn lazy to try anything.
Besides, if they were trying to bust you, do you think they would warn you with a text message?
