I met an exceptional provider and was asked not to post a review.

Is that fair to the rest of you?

There are lots of great providers out there, so I'm not sure it's really a problem.  I'm curious as to the reason given why not even a review without details but just stating you have a positive experience would be out of the question.

Since you brought it up, no. You can allude to who she is by giving us a vague description. IMHO a mini-review doesn't really count as a full review.

If she’s independent and is trying to stay UTR than I would honor her request.  If she’s indy or works for an agency and has a website that I don’t see the harm in just posting the link on the discussion boards.  If she already has reviews than I would say you owe it to your fellow hobbyists to post.

I have had providers ask that I not post a review, and I have honored that request.
The question should not be is it fair to us, it should be would it be fair to her if you did.
That answer should be no, and you shouldn't write a review.

She has her reason(s) for asking that you not write a review. You should honor her request.
