Good restaurant in the Reading market area?

Hi, Philly fellows!

I've been invited on a dinner date while I'm in Philly-- but both of us are out-of-towners and don't know the local scene.

Since I'm staying near the Reading Terminal, can someone recommend a sexy, not too ridiculously expensive place to start our date?

It's right next to the Reading Terminal Market.

Maggiano's is a mediocre chain restaurant.

Only slightly better than an Olive Garden.

She was asking for a Reading Terminal rest nearby

If I were to really recommend one. I'll say Amuse at the Le Meriedien. Or Parc in Rittenhouse. I also love Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Just to name a few

A good French place

Check out Bristro St Tropez, very good food and not too expensive, around $100-165 for two. It might not be that close to Reading but absolutely worth checking out. You won't be disappointed!!!
