I tend to gravitate towards providers who practice their trade in a 'safe' manner (CBJ, no bare back, etc). I have yet to take advantage of the DATY option for fear of bringing a 'little something extra' away from the session. Anyone out there have any insight into the risks of DATY, because I have to be honest, the temptation is tough for me. Thoughts on doing this safely for both the provider and providee? TIA.

I feel the same way about these things. Some of the ladies are experts at cutting up a condom with their fingernails.  However it's hard to keep withing the bounds of the condom.  I have used a dental dam on one occasion; the Asian girl was ok with it but she had never seen one before and wanted to see the box and giggled at the pics on the box (was rather cute I have to say).  Check out the medhelp forum instead of trusting info on these boards.  A Medical doctor who specializes in STDs answers questions on the board in a down-to-earth manner.  Here's a few links to posts on that board that might answer your questions.  You can post a specific question if you like, maybe$20, it's a bargin.

Me too.  I don't do DATY or BBBJ and prefer seeing provides who do the same. This mean I have to select providers with performance less than 8 because TER give higher rating for less safety.  I still get a lot of pleasure on CBJ.  The cover actually help me stay longer.

yes, i wouldn't trust the Craig list STD forum as much although I've read it from time to time.  I've seen it linked to the San Francisco City Clinic where there is a Dr. K who answers some questions.  His answers are a little bit different, although similar....

I too prefer CBJ and no DFK for risk prevention.  Think about it.  If a providor does both DFK and BBBBTC for you and others there is absolutly risk. Most common Chlemedia(sp) not to mention herpes both live in the cells in the mouth and throat as well as down below.
