Could someone from TER please explain its lack of consistency on review policies?  In my review of Victoria Jolie, they took my review down from a 9/10 to a 9/9.  Why?  Because I wasn't graphic enough?  Check out mnifgpcmfg's review of her.  Basically the same experience except he chose CIM.  No Greek either way.  The "lack" of a 10 from me won't effect Victoria in any way.  It's just very confusing how TER decides what is what.  If they are going to change performance grades (beauty truly being in the eye of the beholder), then they should just present a checklist of items served and whether a second (or third) cup was offered and decide the grade themselves.  Otherwise, they need to learn what it means to be consistent.

2nd) We don't get paid.

Having said that, there are a few people who approve reviews. The situation is similar to teachers that might grade the same term paper differently, or wine tasters that rate the same wine a different score. TER wants a 10 to be a rare score.

I can empathize with you however. I, too, have seen Victoria (more than once), and she's top notch. I gave her a 10 (pre-mod days), and it was accepted.

Another piece of trivia--- Once someone becomes a Mod, they can't write reviews.

Dash this has been an ongoing gripe among hobbyist here on TER. I am sure there is at least 1 post per month on every board complaing about a review that was changed by support. As stated below the moderators do not have ANYTHING to do with the review process. If you feel strongly that your review of a 10 was deserved you can request a change  to support.

This is not a guarntee but at least you will be talking to the right people about your problem.

The comment was never directed towards you.  And while you don't get paid in cash, you get to read unedited posts by manfist, which must be good for a whole bunch of laughs.  Surely that's an equal form of compensation.

I was just generally bitching.  It's happened to me before.  I also have seen previous posts.  I think I saw chris post on this before.

I had a feeling it was going to be changed.  As you say, Fuzz, two different profs can come up with diferent grades on the same paper.  That's why I wrote in my review that I thought she had met the requirements of a 10.  I guess I could have lied and said Greek was served and no one except Victoria and I would have known.  It's not like she prohibits Greek.  But that would have been silly just to ensure a 10.  As I said in my earlier post, Victoria doesn't need my review to get other hobbyists to visit.  She just needs truthful reviews so false expectations are built for the next person.

Christophtrac is right, this is a frequent and recurring theme on many boards.  I was recently reading several similar complaints on the Phoenix Board.  Additionally, while I agree with Fuzzy's comment that TER wants 10 to be a rare grade, there is also something to be said for the provider that racks up consistent 10's (i.e. maybe she's a rare provider).  I recently had my reviews of Tina Pink (the only ten I've ever given...evidencing that understand 10 to be a rare grade) and Macy Madison downgraded with no explanation whatsoever.  I guess feel fortunate that you got a rationale.  It begins to make submitting reviews frustrating when lately they are so subjective and even get bounced for no apparent reason.  Personally, I have really slowed my reviews because I'm just so frustrated with TER, I'm not hobbying less, just reviewing less, which makes the whole community suffer.  But...Its getting so annoying that I don't feel likel dealing with it lately.

The same thing happened to me on a review I submitted on Jamie, an independent in SJ.  Her performance was great plus it included DATY, BBBJ, and DFK, all with 2 guys (MFM 3some).  It fit all the criteria yet was downgraded from my 10 to a 9.

I had given Victoria Jolie a 10 on performance, but it too was knocked down to a 9.  I have seen many lackluster reviews maintain a 9 or even a 10.  Very inconsistent.

I did read the review policy before posting, but to make it easy for everyone reading this thread, here it is:

"In order to keep our performance ratings consistent, we set up the following system: An escort provider may only earn up to a 7, unless she also performs the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, Anal Sex, or More than One Guy. The addition of each offering will raise her score by one point. If your review doesn't already accurately reflect this rating system, we will adjust it."

Now also read mnifgpcmfg's review (link below), which is Victoria's last 10.  The difference?  CIM.  But no Anal, Bi or more than one guy.  Also read Fuzz's review.  A 10 with no sexual intercourse but three outstanding BBJTC with CIM.  As I noted in my review, there was mutual rimming.  Isn't that worth something.  You would think so by reading the great reviews of Jennifer.  

My point is there is a lack of consistency.  And I'm not the only one to point this out.  So are you now saying that TER is consistent in downgrading reviews?  I don't think there are many reviewers or providers that would agree with that statement.

Points 8, 9, and 10 aren't subjective, but the underlying 7 are.  In my example above, there was BBBJ, DFK, more than one guy.  That's 3 points to go with excellent performance (7 points).  I don't see why it was downgraded.

TER should have downgraded his performance to a 9 as they did you. The only time(based on TER's rules) a provider can get a 10 for performance is if Greek is on the menu.

This is exactly why I read the reviews not just look at the numbers.  The rating system is too subjective, one guy's 7 is another guy's 9 or 10.

I don't think this problem or topic will ever go away until the rating system is changed.
