A few days ago I detailed on this board her botched appointment without the courtesy of a phone call or email. A few of the fellas on the other board asked her about it. Ultimately she blamed her computer. But of course, she still has a cell phone. On one of her postings, she conceded I was consistently polite to her. On another posting a day later, she used the term "bad apples" in relation to this event. A bit inconsistent, or taking advice from the wrong people perhaps?
The bottom line is that she seems never to run out of excuses. Her seizure, her SO in the hospital, her email not working, you guys know the rest. When her email was bounced back like she said it was, then it's time for the old phone call. And then consider this - she made the time to go on the other board and explain her case. But, she didn't make the time to prevent me wasting an hour drive each way to see her. Good luck.
So, you are saying that she still has never contacted you to offer an explanation, and that you had to read about it somewhere else? That is just unprofessional.
Let us all hope that she has learned a valuable lesson from this and when the next occurance happens (which we hope that it wont), she will do the proper thing and ensure that the gent is notified before he takes the time to go to his meeting with her.
That is precisely what I am saying. I've let it go, but others need to be aware, esp the guys with watchful SO's that make it soooo hard to go out and play for a few hours. A lesson learned.
When read about un-professionalism, in the case of a no-show no call game, I never even give the provider a second thought no matter how great her reviews are.
A simple phone call stating that they are unable to make the appointment is all that's necessary.
