For what it's worth, you're better off this way, never having seen her.  I was a long-timer of hers, and I sing the blues everyday.  Not because she had any shortcomings (there weren't any, believe me) but because she was the BEST and sweetest this city ever had and now it's unavailable.  Consider yourself lucky.  It will be a long time before we get another gem like Maria.
