Guys, what do you think a ladies reference policy should be? How long,,,how many times... how often...and what details? What exactly do you expect from us?

Ladies, feel free to to school 'em! As a reference friendly provider, I sometimes get burnt by other "reference-friendly" providers

It only took me two or three dates before I had a good rep.

I think a lady should provide a reference at least twice , after three times you should be using the last two you saw using the first reference.  And it should be less than one year, six months ideally.  I mean damn, I've met two providers at parties that I had long dates with, like four hours plus, and they forgot who I was, its hard for girls to remember you, you're not their only client.  

A good hobbyist should have a white list here, and membership in a 3rd party site like date-check or p-411.

If you're a once a year guy, like for your birthday or Christmas, then you should have a hobby resume, a short list of girls who remember you, ones that you confirm with before using them as a reference, a paragraph about yourself and, if necessary work info.  But only give that up to well reviewed ladies.  

Cooperating with a reference policy protects every one.  It keeps the girls safe, and encourages them to be professionals

I get alot of birthdays but no Chistmas appts. Hey, pre-cana is enough lol...

I don't take references/give references for anyone after it's been more than 1yr since i've seen them. How often he uses me matters none to me as long as it's within that acceptable timeframe I have in placed to be used for reference. I had one client get at least 4 from me within less than a yr before I saw him again (didn't tour his area as frequently as I liked).  IMO anything more than 1yr doesn't make sense to me even if I saw them for a long time before that last date.....good clients suddenly turn bad all the time.  Hopefully ladies will check in with me if i'm being used as a reference just to make sure the guy isn't just "name-dropping" on a couple of known names. In a perfect world I also would like for the client to gives me a heads up if he's using me as a reference (especially if he needs it relatively last minute) just because it might get me to respond quicker (though I am usually pretty prompt about these things anyways).
