Yes this guy is stupid.  But alot of the facts of this case are incorrect.  First they say that the girl worked for an escort service.  The girl was sent to Downey's house by a stripper/escort who Downey knew.  Its not like she worked for a real service.  

Secondly, I have a feeling Regina was compelled to come forward.  You do not think the cops ran his phone calls and saw he had called her service.  Gee, I am guessing they did.  Lenny always did that on Law and Order.  Why not here.
