Blood donation and mongering don't mix, period. Here is what the Red Cross says (particulary 3 & 4):
You should not give blood [snip] if you have done something that puts you at risk for becoming infected with HIV.
You are at risk for getting infected if you:
* have ever used needles to take drugs, steroids, or anything not prescribed by your doctor * are a male who has had sexual contact with another male, even once, since 1977 * have ever taken money, drugs or other payment for sex since 1977 * have had sexual contact in the past 12 months with anyone described above [snip]
I hate burst your bubble but a very large number of people donate blood because it's tested for the HIV virus for free. Working girls usually don't have medical insurance and it's estimated that 25% of "pros" carry that virus in the city of Philadelphia.
Calm down, man. Why the animosity? Just accept the fact that she won't see people over a certain size. It's not as if there aren't any other ladies out there who will see you.
As a black guy, I've come across a number of providers who I would love to have seen, but won't have the chance to because of the color of my skin. But I don't get upset about it...I accept it and move on. So why don't you?
Instead of being so rude and disrespectful, you should channel some of that bitterness into a diet and a gym membership. Maybe you'll meet her criteria in a few months...
