Funny you should mention this... i.e. "give Philly another chance"

Just this weekend I was doing a little surfing and I was drooling over the girls of BDJ (Sissy and Samantha in particular).  I would really like to see either of those twwo =))!

...and on a similar note, I happened to notice Beautiesofedenonline advertising Heidei in Washington D.C. (hot, hot, HOTTT) and when I called to find out if she (or Farrah ...another hottie in their stable) had any plans to visit Philly, the response was: "we are very leary of sending girls to Philly because we always have major problems there" ...end quote!  ...Why is that???  are guys here really knuckleheads or what??

Belle De Jour hasn't sent anyone to Philly in about 1-1/2 years.  I'm not sure why.  But I have seen on these boards that Philly get's slammed pretty badly by traveling providers. I just saw a provider last week and asked her what her experience has been in Philly and she said she prefers Philly men to NY or Boston.  So go figure, you know what they say about an opinion, everybody has one...
BDj isn't the only agency that dosen't send girls to Philly there are quite a few that won't either.

Where is BDJ located and what cities to they serve?

I agree, a concerted effort is due to bring the BDJ babes back to Philly. It was my understanding that no shows were a complaint by some agencies. A call to BDJ to request a lady is good but booking them in NYC, Balt or DC is a good option. Reviews indicate many of ladies are worth the trip. Sissy only tours NYC now but I vote for us Philly guys to request a lady sometime in the next month.

Speaking to BDJ and other agency girls the reasons I've been told they stopped coming to Philadelphia are:
1) Lack of pre-booking prior to arrival
2) Last minute cancellations
3) Low number of appointments during the week
4) 1), 2) and 3) are less of a problem in Boston, NYC and DC.

As a result Philadelphia has become a secondary market.

IMHO, they are the two finest ladies who have graced Belle de Jour with their presence!

Ok, I don't know where to start except the fact first and foremost I am popular and established with the girls in NY & LI so it is very easy to book and get strong commitments in those particular cites. Boston is solid for no reason just that it is a easy city to work with. I do like alot of Philly guys there.. PAUL you know who you are, have been asking over and over agin and now I think he has exhausted his requests and now does not ask anymore.

I would like to know who were the guys on the board trying to strong arm agenies ans indie to lower their rates to below 300?

You see posts like that get around I am sure there are alot of great guys in this city of brotherly love )

I do feel that is makes it look bad for agencies to come in and do well with that sort of talk on the boards.

I also notice eves are sprt of slow in Philly and no-shows from what I hear are a major issue.

If I did send a girl there to try it again for a week which girls to do you guys like the most.

Sissy will only do NYC so it would have to be another girl, and also I believe the rate might be a issue.

Just let me know, I would highly consider it again.

Hey, if Kim sends us a reply lets defend our Philly rep around here. We've been to three straight NFC championships. Lets prebook so its a win/win for everybody. I saw Jill in NYC and it was worth every cent and every mile driven.  Kim, how bout  Leigh, Samantha, or Elana?

I would love to see Leigh, Kayla, or Alisandra.  I must say, though, you can't go wrong with any of the BDJ women.  If Leigh or Kayla visit, I'd keep them busy myself during their visit.

Please let it be true, BDJ is coming back to Philly.  I sure would like to meet them ALL, especially Kendra, Juliet, Samantha or Alisandra.

I hope you do send somebody to visit us again (and soon!).  I've always thought Philly is a great town for new girls to get their feet wet as a lower stress introduction to the profession.  After all we're a pretty easy going friendly bunch, just ask the ladies who put us on their rota.

...So, I have scoured the BDJ site yet another wishful time trying to decide which lady I would like to see.  It's such a hard decision (no pun intended) 'cause each one is hotter than the previous.  But I personally am smitten by Samantha - she would be my pick!!  But, as luck would have it, when I scrolled down I saw that her rate is 350/hr where as quite a few of the others are 325, and 300.  So, once again, I have champaigne taste, but a beer budget.  

Just to go on record, I was never one of the guys who tried to keep the $$ below 300.  I read the posts, but did not participate.  But as kim says, rates may be an issue.  For what it's worth, here is my take.  If I can get an appointment for 250 (Ultragfe, or SFE have been here recently at that rate, and their entertainers are pretty good if you read the reviews) vs. 350, I'd probably opt for the 250.  You see, I'm just a regular guy, with a regular job, and the "other" regular responsibilities looking for something on the side.  I'm not a high roller, but I don't want to sound cheap either, it's just that after 2 or 3 appointments the extra 100 adds up to 2 and 300 ...and that's a car payment (or another appointment). ...and besides but amount becomes hard to absorb/hide.  All that I am saying is have mercy on us "regular" guys. LOL!

In the end, it is what it is.  I know my limitations and I'll back out and fold my hand when I can't ante up.  More power to those who can - I am envious and live Vicariously through your reviews LOL!!!

I hear you Joe, but with limited BDJ caliber girls in Philly I vote for Leigh or Samantha to visit soon.

I was in NY this week and used BDJ for the first time.  This is a great agency.  Kim was so accommodating.  She referred me to Elana, who was both beautiful and friendly.

BTW, some of you may remember Kadi, who visited Philly earlier this year from Las Vegas.  Kadi is going to be a BDJ girl, and it would be great if she could come visit us again.  BDJ is lucky to have her, and Philly would be lucky to have BDJ come here.

Pricing in any business is always an issue. If I could put in my two cents...
I do understand some services may charge more to get a higher class of customer and I can understand that.  I'm an average guy but I beleive I am a gentlemen and not a jerk. That being said I try to budget 600 per month to go out which but sometimes I am not that sucessful.  At $$1/2 a visit I can get
myself 2 visits for the month no problem but if I don't get the 600 together than I only go out once for that month. So if I cant afford to go out twice in a month then the service has made 300 and if there rate was $$ 1/2 then they would have made 500. So raising the price doesn't always mean you've made more money.
