I like a little bit of grass overgrowing the runway.  Of course neatly trimmed, but definitely a good amount of grass.  And I have seen a very fine local lady who appears to be a pioneer in this endeavor, of course neatly trimmed.  It was different from the baldies we see consistently but it was definitely a nice experience and definitely superior to the "cue ball" look.  Any feeling out there on whether or not we should be requesting a nice thick cover over the landing zone, or completely clean??  Please, no need to mention any names.  I imagine "old" guys like to play golf in the rough alongside the fairway, and the young guys like to stay on the tee box. How about it? And ladies, feel free to express your opinions.
