Is it me or has the Philadelphia area seriously changed over this past year. I seem to remember a city where a horney girl would have men falling at her feet. Now it seems there no longer are any healthy lusty men around. Where have they all gone???? Someone please tell me??

your last post said "only" people that you had seen previously. You may have limited your market by that request.

With the recession, tax season and a lot of CL providers offering everything for a fraction of our fee, it is certainly a tough time for everyone.

Pretty soon it should be ok.

Stock market Losses
I would also add that when the market averages are down 10% this year and you've given up all of the last two years gains on stocks and mutual funds, most investors just feel poor right now and guilty spending on providers.

Gas prices up, heating oil up, rising food prices, home prices slashed, stocks down, tax time +  a plethora of secretaries and students turned Hos @ $200/hr.

It's a buyers (hobbyists) delight, and the" perfect storm" for providers. It's bad all over.

Those are the facts, and NO, I don't see it changing before next year at best. None of the above economic facts are changing any time soon.

Unless there is a boom in the stock market I do not see it getting any better at the moment!! Indies are actually luckier they should still be rolling in the dough here and there....Providing attitudes and what not.... But yes sloane agree with you on the CL  kids,,,, cutting it all out from the ladies that are proud of their job!!!

But it will get better!!

I was very interested but as I have never seen you before I am excluded. I have no problem with the location as that is just an excuse- I simply do not fit the criteria and had hoped that eventually that you would start seeing new clients

As you other post said, you were not seeing anyone new.  Thus I did not call and now it's later in the week and I'm planning to go see a longtime friend in Virginia this weekend.

You've been on my list to see and I hope that we can get together sometime.  I'm always ready to help out a sexy, horney girl.  Are you still doing your dinner date special?

I agree on the recession cold showering my disposable income but where can I find some of those secretaries and students?

Stocks are down.  My mutual funds were very tax inefficient last year.  I was killed on taxes, and they ate the entirety of what was a decent bonus.  Not to mention I have had hellacious back problems this year.

Great discussion. It's now a buyer's market across the economy and competition for hard earned dollars is fierce. Increase the supply and decrease the demand and prices fall, notice all the 'special' rates. Just the natural cycle of things. Champagne taste on a beer budget but half a hobby is still better than none.

With average prices still between 300 to 350, the recession obviously hasn't affected very many...

Bonus?  What's that?  I haven't received a bonus in a decade (but the CEO will give himself one I'm sure)...  I just got a raise, and it was around HALF of my PA tax bill, and about an EIGHTH of my Federal tax bill.  And that was a GOOD raise, after getting an 'Exceeds Expectations' on my yearly review!  And by the way, just because we are understaffed, doesn't mean we're going to lessen the amount of work we'll take on -- no no no!  We've got more, more, more!

If you were killed on taxes, I was drawn & quartered.  On top of that, my company stock is trading at about half of what it was last year -- I'm thinking of selling some at a loss to offset gains & dividends on my mutual funds for tax purposes this year.  Ugh...  I'm getting stressed out just thinking about it...

Happy thoughts, think happy thoughts...
