I agree that there are plenty of cops who listen to Stern who will now be checking her out. A smart girl would try her best to stay under the radar. Not good for business in the long run but she can always change her name and her website. I know that I would be nervous if I was her and/or one of her friends. Better safe than sorry...

I didn't read where he said anything about these sites being underground or that he had any sense of security, false or otherwise.

Why in the world would you want to draw more attention? What purpose exactly did that serve? So because sites like these are not underground, that justifies bringing even more attention? Such rationalization.

Every board is being monitored by LE.  The point these gentlemen are saying is you are dangling this in front of LE, like hey here I am, I went on Stern, you can't catch me.  The mere fact that you went on Stern and showed your face and said you're an escort makes every client, well frankly nervous.  Your discretion was why they came to you for.

I have been contacted by different newspapers, tv programs and have ignored them all.  I prefer to keep my life and this separate.  I have a lot to protect and the safety of my clients and my colleagues.  They can speculate all they want about me and I leave it up to them to make assumptions.  This is already a profession which is not accepted by the mainstream.  

I am not trying to put you down, but simply explain it from their perspective and from a fellow provider's.

My thought is: LE is not the point.  Like everyone here says/knows LE monitors this board and others, etc.  Heck, it doesn't tack Dick Tracy to find out about This site and others.  After all, the way I found out about the various sites was one night I said to myself "I wonder how you find an escort"  I got on the computer and googled "escorts" and Philadlephia" and I was off and running.  Nothin' hard about that.  So, yeah, you'd have to be a brain dead LE NOT to know about this and other sites.  I believe that LE actually does leave us alone 'cause they ARE in fact dealing with bigger issues like drugs, gangs, murdrs, etc.  ...and they only tend to hobby matters when things get out of hand (i.e. the Craig's list killer) or if some "civie/nonhobbyist" makes a stink about it.  ...and THAT is exactly why going on Stern was the most idiotic thing Natasha couold have done.  How many "civies" know about these sites?  Probably not many.  Or. said in reverse - what portion of the "civies" are involved in the hobby and know about TER, etc.  ...probably a small portion.  The bigger concern I have is that she just made a million(?) listeners aware of the hobby.  NOW everyone and their brother checks it out just for curiosity sake.  THEN when "civies" start to question why is this going on, how could they (LE) allow that to exist, etc.  ...or when a 40 something housewife sees how hot and sexy some of the ladies are, and she is over weight and not to pretty anymore, and her husband doesn't pay much attention to her... well guess what she does - yeah that's right - raises a stink.  Look, LE already knew.  I'm concerned more about the fact that she just brought it to the attention of a TON of unsuspecting "civies".

Irresponsible & self-serving. You only cared that he plugged your website and you got business out of it. Plain selfishness. Obviously, LE knows about this site & the hobby, but we all follow certain unwritten rules to try to keep ourselves out of the spotlight. Whether you want to believe it or not, you did great harm to the business that puts food on your table and clothes on your back. Like R2T said, I'm glad I'm not a client and now certainly never will be.
