I am reading provider ads on this page whose rates range from $200 to $400, and one even adv for free, but I don't believe in free sex. The deviation is quite substantial. I am wondering if there is a strong correlation between the number of calls with the rate.
I limit myself to seeing providers at $250 range and they told me they typically get 3 clients a day. Do $200 providers get twice as many clients? What about the $400 providers? Do they get any clients?

1. Public Perception: Many providers recognize that fluctuation in rate structure may temporarily "patch" lapses in business due to basic economics, loss of momentum or visibility. Alternatively providers also recognize that public rate fluctuation may be perceived as a number of things including increased volume, decreased service or "flakiness" of some sort by hobby analysts who note every increase or decrease on advertisements. This discourages many from publicly modifying their rate - no matter how many calls or how few calls she is receiving.
2. The provider herself: I think Fuzzy said on another board "the top 5% of providers will always do well, no matter what the economy looks like." Sex and liquor always sell, eh? Recently I had an inside glance at a friend's tour. The amount she made over a little under two weeks was...astronomical. A consistent 9/10 - 10/10 will always be in demand, allowing for a rate higher than average with 0 fluctuation.
3. Perception of oneself in relation to the market: Disentangling one's rate from ego is harder than you would think. Personally, my rate fluctuates because I have a very hard time reconciling sitting in an incall location which I've paid for with no guests to entertain "on principle" of maintaining an image or some such nonsense. Approaching personal evaluation purely from a business standpoint there are probably two things about myself which if were changed, would cause me to increase my rate and stabilize it there. But I'm lazy and like to eat cookies apparently so $250-$300 it is. I've found that often the rate that a provider chooses has less to do with the service she provides and more of what she thinks of herself, appropriately or not.
$200h v. $400h is not a guarantee of more business, nor is the higher rate indicative of better service.
Everyone simply finds their price point-if they're content with the call volume it remains, if they are not it is modified (sometimes several times over the course of a "career").
I just saw Apple for the $200 speical rate. Her attractiveness and performance worth more than many $250 to $300 ladies I've seen, so rate and satisfaction have no correlation. I am not her agent so I don't know how many clients she generated with the special. But her special rate definitely has generated biz from me because I didn't intend to see anyone this week because I've already spent my hobby money of the month. This means I have to cut back next month unless another special comes along that I can't pass.
At the lowest price end are AMPs. I used to monger DaHill but not anymore because the lanquage barrier took away the fun of my sessions.
