Sources in Austin say that she has been around for a long time. She is eccentric (you don't say), artistic, brainy and accerbic.  She also obviously doesn't care what anybody thinks about her, especially a bunch of East Coast yahoos.

Mark it up to bucolic eccentricity and let it pass.

It's hard to be eccentric in Austin. When everyone is eccentric, weird is normal.
