I am not a hobbiest, but I would like to think that they would prefer a clean, safe and discreet environment. Be it a hotel room or a home, it should be a place that the client can feel relaxed and comfortable in.

Prefer clean safe home or apt. More personal and relaxed and less business like. That said, most important is clean inviting spot. No clue why some otherwise very nice women have messy hotel rooms with leftover food and clothes thrown all over.

of any truly responsible hobbyist when it comes to the location he chooses to engage with a lady in. Safety in respects to both personal, physical well being to be free from fear of robbery, assault, etc but also as it pertains to anonymity.

Hotels that are in poor locations, and/or are known to have a routinely increased LE presence, or require a keycard to access the elevator can be just as dangerous as an apt complex with a doormen and front desk which require you to announce who you're visiting before you can actually go up to the room, or the townhouse development with the nosy neighbors who have noticed the suddenly increased amount of male foot traffic coming/going to your place and staying for just an hour or so.

While there may be a few things that the comforts of an apartment or home can offer that a hotel can't or make it difficult to offer, and of course we all have our preferred or "ideal" things in mind, as long as it's safe and secure I don't think most guys will mind if it's one or the other.

And I really don't care for the hotel layout, it's all bed.  I like a little living room time, kissing on the couch kind of thing.  But I have to admit I like an upscale bathroom with lots of room.  And of course a big full length mirror is the bomb !
