Some months back the moderator posted a question whether the Philly board was even necessary due to a lack of interest and quite a few people responded.  Since that time I think this board has developed a nice little buzz of activity with info requests and discussion topics in addition to the provider ads.  This board may not be as rough and tumble as some of the other cities, but I for one think it's a great place to share some thoughts and gather information.  Thanks to all the ladies and gents who contribute!

Well, we gotta thank the Mod for allowing a free exchange of info.  Yes, I agree it's getting better.  Once in a while there are a few people who take exception to what is posted, but you can't please everyone all the time.  Hopefully some of our fellow sports fans who just read and don't post will jump in with some contributions of their own.

Did you ever read the Atlanta board?  On a daily basis they have 4-5 times the traffic of the Philly boards.  They let it all hang out (no pun intended), and they're a smaller city.

Since Atlanta folks are notoriously ambivalent sports fans and Philly guys are rabidly passionate, it would seem the Atlanta guys are saving their energy for hobbying and talking about it!  C'mon guys, we can beat them at both!!

Well, I was just down there and saw two of Atlanta's finest ladies in the same condo. A quick game of tackle football would have been fun, but there was time for only one of them.... Now I can see why the 'Lanta guys have a whole lot better outlook on things...it was a hassle-free meeting with a very gracious and polite lady.  Georgia peaches at their ripest!!  PM me and I'll tell you who I saw, b/c she travels up here once in a while, and treats you like a king.

Interesting coincidence to see this title in regard to providers with the big Atlanta vs. Phila football game about to take place. I get the impression that they have it all over us in providers, but go Eagles!

I guess this could have the potential for starting the next board battle, but what the hell.  You know how up here guys complain that the good ones are few and far between?  Down there you have the opposite situation.  What a shame!

I guess some provider will now tell me that if I like Georgia peaches so much, then why don't I move there?  Well thanks for the idea, but I already thought of it.  Maybe not in Atlanta, but somewhere down there where good manners are not in such short supply.

At nick's suggestion, I perused the Atlanta board a little and saw an interesting thread complaining that Atlanta's eros page doesn't have as many "model" types as other cities.  Went to eros and found they had DOUBLE the number of listings we had!  YMMV when it comes to looks but you can't beat that kind of variety.

BTW, the title was no coincidence.  I thought it a wonderful contradiction in styles vs us that they seem to take or leave their sports teams yet are wild about their providers.  One might say they have their priorities in order...lol.  I still bleed green though.  GO EAGLES!!

I live in ATL.  I'm used to our sports teams losing as I was raised in the 70s-80s (win the Braves and the Falcons seemingly couldn't buy a win).  I'm proud of the first year coaching of the Falcons and the future looks bright if we can find an Off. line to protect Vick.

That said, I lost $$$$ on the Falcons and Steelers - oh well, should have seen Katie...

As far as providers go, we have some of the best anywhere - one reason PSs don't fare well in ATL. We have ladies that are as good service-wise or better.

FYI, though she is 'retired', (among those of us here who communicate back channel) Veronica Monroe can return anytime she pleases.
