Reading Terminal Market has a nice array of food stands..located at 12th and Filbert (one block north of Market Street), open mornings and afternoons.  The Marriott at 12th & Market has a nice lunch buffet.

Philly has so many wonderful restaurants.  If it's fine dining you long for try some of my favs:  Fogo de Chao, Le Bec-Fin, Jake's Rest & Bar, the Capitol Grill, Upstairs at Varalli, Zanzibar Blue, Brassierie Perrier, .......

Places to eat at

Well, it all depends on how much you'd want to spend on a meal. For lunches, going to the Reading Terminal Market is nice, and I highly recommend the sandwichs and other lunchtime eats at DiBruno Brothers on 1730 Chestnut Street. It's neat just walking around their store as well for the sights and smells. Check it out.

Le BEc Fin usually lives up to the hype as a top-tier French Restaurant. Not the biggest portions (what French Restaurant does?) but this place is run by world-reknowned chef GEorges Perrier.
