OK, this constitutes the first time I ever made an appointment with a lady and ducked out without so much as providing her with a courtesy call (I still feel badly).  Here's what happened...

I'm on my way to BWI, and so I choose to make an appointment with a reviewed lady in the BWI area.    When I call her on the phone, she's happy to hear from me and tells me she's now in Laurel MD, gives me her location and room number (?!) and asks for my cell# (!!!) (I declined for more than the obvious reason - read on).  Never one word about referral or work info.  Hmmm.  Anyway I proceed to Laurel (thinking about this the whole time) and when I get there the location is:

1 - next to a truck stop (wtf?! her rate = $$$+ and I assume that truck stop ladies don't get $$$)
2 - has *two* seperate rooms nearby hers with multiple males peering out (I kid you not!) from open doors with no cars out front.  (LE?)

So, I had second thoughts.  Problem was, my cell was actually my *wife's* cell and I wasn't going to make that mistake.  So, I bolted, without so much as a "see you later".  I still feel badly.

OK guys - I'm interested in your opinion.  Was I right to trust my tingling Spider Senses or was it merely the jitters?  What would you do?

Way too many things wrong with that pic. I too would have sensed something  being up for a lady at that rate not asking for reffrences or work info.
It is way better to be safe than sorry.
I would have called to cancel from a payphone just in case.

Nothing to do with Peter Parker up top, but stop it with the references all ready.  I have seen numerous ladies, some you have reviewed Hawkie, and I have never once given a reference, my home number, work number, etc.  

If cops want to bust a girl, they will bust her, they can fake business numbers, create a fake profile here, etc, etc, etc.  Cops bust at will, they just need a reason to above the obvious.  Such as guys knocking on wrong doors, angry hotel owners, etc.

Right on,chris.So cliche but you gotta trust your gut.Better safe than sorry.You have to be careful these days esp. down in Md and DC.And Laurel,Md has always been a hot area.And remember-Not all stings make it on the news or this board.Be careful out there

 We do ask that you call, if you can not make it. However, if you were going to call from a blocked number, you should not have been able to get through away. That is explained and posted on the majority of providers website and postings.

That is a very nice size, do you know what size you made it? the pics I post seem to always seems to large.

I made an appointment with Miami Companions and all they requested was my cell number and occupation. (Sales) They said and did check my drivers license and business card at meet.

That has happened to me quite frequently.

I think you made the right decision. That gut feeling  was just common sense taking over for that physical urge. Just curious ?? How many review did the lady have?
Were they all from first timers?

With all of the LE activity I think it is always beter to be safe than sorry. There are several agencies that as of lately have not been that prudent in their screening.  That is  on them. But I have yet to meet a $$$+ lady at a motel next to a truck stop.

Thank you all for your opinions.  I believe that everyone in this hobby fights a "bad rep", and I try to do everything I can not to add to it.  But this case was just too much.  You have restored my confidence in my own judgement.

Good question.  Actually she had 2 pages of reviews, and that certainly weighed in my mind in favor of going through with the appointment.  However, in the  end, it didn't overcome the feeling of threat from the peering males in the rooms next door.

Be glad that the "BIG" head took over for the "LITTLE" head in this case or else you may have been a guest of the boys downtown.
