Curious as to why guys prefer not to submit reviews.
For example: if a girl is booked 4 days straight but gets no reviews..

I agree I don't understand why they don't either.The bad part is I'm in need of one so I can have an active account on here and so I can join p411. So if you are up for issuing one for me shoot me a email  at [email protected]  my website is acting up but you can email me for photos or any information you might need.

I can't speak for everyone, but a few reasons that leap to mind:

1. Review backlash
2. Review manipulation
3. Self-consciousness
4. Desire for anonymity
5. "Kiss and Tell" inhibition

I think it is much more difficult to come up with positive consequences to a reviewer for reviewing, other than knowing that some others will "pay it forward" and we can all be a little more safe and knowledgeable.

I like the writing.  I've been behind this year because of a lot of things in my personal life.  For me they can be a lot of work.  I tend to get real graphic and use a lot of detail.

A couple more, applicable to me:

1. Uncertainty if provider wants a review. I have never been asked to leave a review, and only a couple times have I felt like I should ask to leave one. However, there are certain providers, particularly those that are somewhere above UTRs and somewhere below full-advertising indys, where I just don't know their preference, so I would rather (perhaps for reason #1 you noted), not comment.  

2. Nothing remarkable to say. I will always review if I had positive experience, or a negative one (i.e. B&S, scam, etc.). However, there have been some situations where the experience may have been "blah", but I would not want to leave a negative review, as that may negatively impact her opportunities, even though it may have been an off day, or just poor chemistry between us. I am not very consistent in the application of this rule.  

Also, TER gets very strict with their policies; I have had to make edits and go through re-approvals many times before to get it through their moderation. That might frustrate some folks.

You could send her a nice email thanking her for a great time and ask if she would mind if you posted a review. You thus come across as an appreciative client on two levels.  

I'm not sure what to make of your blah experiences, but maybe if you had better reviews to aid your research, you could avoid these meh experiences?

Oh, laugh it up Blondie! If I had even known about reviews when we met, I'd have written you a great one. You fueled my newbie fire, for sure! Guess I'll have to track you down and make up for my past mistakes.

Of course, one has to actually have seen the lady before writing a review (LOL).  
Seriously, I will write a review if the experience has been very good or very bad - or if I have something to add to existing reviews.  If I feel it might just be due to chemistry, or if it just might not have been a good day for her, then I tend to give her the benefit of the doubt and not write one.

It is always appropriate to ask - and to send a "thank you for the great time" email after.  I have had two well known providers spontaneously ask me not to write a review because they "didn't want the increased visibility"    

FWIW, sometimes a clear post on a forum is as helpful to others (and the lady) as a more detailed review - especially if it is followed up by a full review.

I don't normally write a review if my date was lame. Only once I wrote a bad review and that's because she was her service was terrible.  
If her service was just ok I don't write one either. There can be many reasons why the service wasn't that good so I choose not to write one.
The great providers and my fav's I almost always write them a new review after I have seen them. Their service is awesome and I think others should know so they can enjoy them also.

1.  If you give any kind of accurate review for a bad date, even if you've given plenty of good ones, some providers hold it against you.  It happens.

2. Ask the (former) review kings in Baltimore how it feels to get on Uncle Leo's radar for being a top reviewer.

3.  I work hard to keep my identity safe.  When an agency or indy gets busted, I'd rather not have my user ID associated with them.

I used to review a lot.  Then the shit went down in Baltimore in 2010, and I cut back considerably.

You're right- some guys feel that if they can't say something nice, then they shouldn't say anything at all. And I somewhat support this view. Girls can, from time o time, just have a very bad day, and gents realize that these women sometimes rely on this as a career, and have kids or families to support. I know some providers that do not get reviews or keep a profile on TER because they prefer to keep themselves UTR. Still other times, gents prefer not to "kiss and tell". I have had several old fashioned gentlemen whom I adore and are fantastic clients not review me simply because they are from a time when we didn't tweet, fb, and instagram every single thing they did. They like to keep their experience a private (albeit steamy) one. So, there are a variety of reasons, but you're right... It is a little odd if someone is booked solid, without any reviews. Makes me wonder what they're doing to advertise. Word of mouth? Other boards and sites? Eros? In my experience, TER has been my best tool of advertising, and produces the best, most dependable clients. So I couldn't see being in this industry without taking advantage of TER reviews.
