The no parking capital of the US....Geesh I have never been anywhere where parking is so hard to find and the parking fees are crazy...$36 for overnight parking!!!

That's why it's better to park at the private parking lots where you pay about 22-29/day and just walk a couple of blocks to the hotel.  The hotels are charging crazy parking fees because of their lack of business.

they are not so safe and one of them (which is indoor) closes after a certain time of day... they are really not very convenient...

there is also the lot across from Hanahman hosp - and that runs 12 or so per night...

so, where ya park - depends on where you need to be.

The Sheraton formerly the Wyndham does that type shit.  Next time stay in KOP

Philly hobby rates are fully $100+ LESS per hr than NYC, and NYC parking & tolls Triple the Philly rate.

I always wonder why more providers don't stay at the airport. I know it's more travel time for hobbyist but if a gal is worth it we will make the trip. Parking is not an issue there.

That is why I stay at the airport when I come to Philly.  By the way, I will be there on March 11 and 12.

Philly hotels have always charged for parking. Sometimes you are not so lucky and have to use one of the parking lots down the street from the hotel. I think there are some hotels that are in walking/cab distance from the Philly metrostops, that give you access to Amtrak.
