Let's see...the radar indicates that the rain will move out by 10:00pm so you delay the game almost 2 hours, great!  ummmm, the radar indicates heavy rain for most of the night starting at about 8:00pm you decide to ignore it!  WTF are you an idiot?  Thanks Bud!

not sure what radar you were looking at, but all of the tv stations were saying light rain til about 10-11 then heavier rain to move in.
looks like the heavy stuff got there a tad early.

That actually is very close to what happened, only the heavy stuff moved in about 930 rather than 10.  It was raining at the outset of the game and if they knew it was moving in heavy at 10-11, you KNEW that a game starting at 830 would only be about half-way through and you would have a fiasco, and that's what last night was.  The weather folks were close - it's Bud Selig who is far off the mark.  In any case, it's 2-2 in the 6th and the Phils are still in good shape to win the game and the series.  The whole thing would be academic without NINE LOB's in 5 innings, but that's (pun intended) water under the bridge now.  A PH for Cole Hamels will open the 6th inning for the Phils and then it's the top of the order.  Perhaps a big inning will start it.

I am glad for your optimism.  I, on the other hand am feeling very queasy.  The sports gods are f*&^%ing with us again!!!!

It's still the Ray's with the pressure on them, knowing they are down 3-1 and that the Phillies have shown that they have the better bullpen.  I would rather have seen a few clutch hits with RISP, but that's been the issue this whole series.

There's still 3-1/2 innings to play with the Phils batting 4 times, so I still like the Phils chances.

the World Series Champion,

(I always had trouble with the word "World", not sure if the world is fairly represented.)

with a 3 1/2 inning game?????

I hope the Phillies warm up before they get to the field.
