Hi Fellas!! I just moved to the Philly from LA. Why are guys here so hard on Escort agencies? I'm thinking about opening an agency but I see people here like seeing independant providers, why is that both can get you in trouble. I have had problems with both but worse with an independant she took my credit card number and ran the bill up without me knowing.
So can someone tell me whats the big deal if the Female is sexy whats the problem? I have had the bait and switch from both.
you don't need to bash indies, right? There is room for everyone...agency & indies, so don't start in the wrong foot. Lots of indies also moonlight for certain agencies and vice versa.

I not Trying to bash anybody I just ask whats the big deal? If a person likes indies then great. But why are people always bashing agencies? LOOK I'm not here to fire any group of people up.
I prefer my money going to the lady who earned it, not some person sitting on thier butt answering phones.

Excuse me, but I've been in the bus. for a very long time and only recently became an indy. I've worked for many of the different agency's and I've never known any of them do anything more then advertise, answer the phone and sit back and collect MY hard earned money. I have always had to set-up everything else myself including flight and transport to and from hotel or apartment. If I was staying in a hotel I had to set that up as well and if I stayed in their apartment I was always charged high rent. Also if I needed a ride and used their driver that was always extra. If they had a person to run errands or clean they where extra. I sit back now and think of how much money I could have saved myself if I had gone indy sooner and I get sick.
The only reason I didn’t go indy sooner was because I was told over and over again how hard it is working as an indy and how much safer I was working with an agent. NOT! I was worked like a dog when I worked agency. They expect you to work very long hours and see way too many clients and still be happy, beautiful and at peak performance with every guy. I’m sorry but it just is way too much to ask . God forbid for some reason you’re not all of thee above and someone should call and complain. I’ve actually had agency take extra money out of my share, because someone complained. How is that fair?? As for it being safer?? Yeah, for them, they’re not the one’s answering the door or going out on a call. It’s the girl who will take the fal if something goes down.
So Please Explain to me again what exactly an agency does that makes them feel they deserve 1/2 (Yes gentleman, that's right 1/2!!! sometimes tip's included) of all the money that a girl makes??? Because I just don’t get it!
We check all clients references our ladies earn 75% and we lay out all the funds We book only (4 or 5 star) Hotels we never book back to back. Our main goal is to make you happy and in return you will make the client's happy. We answer at least 500 to 600 emails per day as well as all the calls with the "stupid questions" and handle all travel and advertisements. We try our best to be very professional and treat ALL with respect.
I feel bad for you , that you have worked for the the wrong agency's.
I know personally I have been there. That is why I do not treat the ladies that work for me disrespectfully.

I find this topic to be very interesting.
Also, I am amazed at the display of “work ethic” going on here. All of these agencies are illegal and should be quite happy that providers are making any money for them at all! It’s shocking that anyone could command you to work long hours and whatnot. What do they have to back up their commands and requests? Will you get less of a percentage, less clients, or is there something worse?
If I were an escort I would being doing what I wanted to at my leisure. However, I would treat those that were paying me with respect.
If you work for an High class agency they set everything up for you. I don't know any agencies here in the Philadelphia area but in LA you have different types of agencies. Some are trash and other are ran like an business

But seriously, you seem to be pointing out all the extreme negatives of an agency....or you worked for one sleeeeeeeazy agency. In talking with some ladies that I have seen, the numbers are NOT that dramatic. Maybe a little research into an agency before you jump into the pool is needed. See, this is why TER is so great for the clients in looking at the reviews. Maybe the girls need something out there for info on agencies. Although, I'm sure a lot is communicated by word of mouth.

I feel that people that own agenies work really hard if they run a good one. Its more to it then answering the phone. If people think that then maybe they should try to see if they can run one!!
I think alot of guys want to see independants because they think they can talk the provider down on the fee. Also some think if he sees that independant provider enough she will see him for free or start dating him.
Look I like sexy women I could care less if she works for an agency or herself. Her BEDROOM skills is the only thing I care about because I don't have time for games.

Unfortunately agencies don't work like that. If they did, most girls would stay with an agency. The biggest concern when dealing with an agency is whether the girl will show or if she looks as they described or posted in a photo. I have no problem going indy or agency, if both are well rated/reviewed. But it would be nice to see an agency run like the one in the movie Night Shift, where they don't only get them work but just take a small cut (say 15%) and help them invest their money so they don't have to do this kind of work forever. I just wish more indy's invested their money (same goes for strippers).
Your right I know ladies that are indies and agency ladies that both don't have any investments or money saved for when they can't escort any longer...
In Philly, due to recent LE raids, there are hardly any local agencies left so indies outnumber agency ladies. So there isn't much a choice.
I personally prefer agency because it's a one stop shopping. After the first time, making appointment with new ladies from the agency is easy and with the confident that the ladies are legit. Like For Sale by Owner homes, indies aren't any cheaper than agency ladies.

" Ladies who work for agency are generatlly new in the biz and they have to start from some place that can guide them. Only after they learn the trade and if they can tolerate the work will they go indy. So agencies have to continuously recruite new talents.

how do they keep doing raids? Is it because they offer incall?
Last year, 3 incall agencies in Philly and one in S. Jersey were busted. All 3 agencies worked out from apartment incall in center city. I know at least two busted agencies have already sneeked back in operation under the radar. I am not sure what triggered the sudden riads because for years, LE never bothered anyone except occationally raided AMPs but they all popped back up and we have more AMPs now than ever before.

Let's not group ALL agency girls as being not savy enough to invest their money. I just recently saw an agency girl visiting here that has a $600K home and is thinking of buying a $50K boat.
I'm not taking sides in an issue regarding indy vs. agency. It's all a matter of where the girl feels comfortable.
