Guess it depends where you live what kind of response you get.  

Here's threads from the DC board where a guy was going to visit Atlanta and says he posted on the Atlanta board and got no response.  The threads tell him he should have also posted on the DC board, not just the Atlanta board where he was going.

There's also one with the same FL issue as thorgxx.
