Seriously, Macy, when we (hopefully) get together next week I'll give you a donation for the cause and really, I could care less about a receipt. It's for a very good cause.

I was thinking that since many of us huge-hearted ladies have a sense of civic responsibility and we have insane influence over our male counterparts...I'd like us to come up with a charity drive. Ladies, if you'd like to be a part of this, we can offer discounts to men who help our charity. Personally, I was thinking we could give anonymous donations to PECO because it's really a matter of life or death for many people right now, including children. My Red Cross drive was very beneficial but I'd like to see a bigger effort now. Let's discuss this?

hehe good! I'll do the same thing I did with the Red Cross drive and Toys for Tots and match any donation until the end of the month. With this weather, I'll stay local too so no excuses boys!!!

Good idea and wonderful sentiments on your part, Macy.  One thing about donations, though, is getting the tax deduction.  How does this work and who would generate the receipt?

...get the receipt because I, or other girls, would not be receiving anything. Email me for specifics. It would be taken out of a donation, yes. So basically, you'd be paying for a good time and have a tax deduction :)
