I would LOVE to call people back but I would say 50% of people don't leave their phone number in their message or say it too fast for me to hear. Please, please, please leave your number because we get so many calls a day and it's difficult to differentiate them all.

My first reaction was to say we assume the calls are received on a cell phone and you can see the number.  But I never really thought about the fact that you may receive so many calls that you can't tell adam's number from evan [laugh track here for the lame play on words ].  This probably explains a no call back recently from someone who religiously calls back.  Now that I think of it, I didn't leave my number and I usually do.

Most clients don't want to asnwer calls from providers at inconvenient time during meetings, at work or with family.  If I call a provider and get a voice mail, I call someone else until I get a real person and a real appointment.  When you work indy and don't want to pay someone else to answer the phone call, you're going to lose over half the potential appointments due to missing opportunity.

Sometimes, we can forget.  I also know that with ladies I've seen before, I sometimes assume they already have my number.

And it is not always easy for you to associate a number with a message.  One lady I know asks you to leave your number twice and slowly.

I know that I've had to listen to some message several times to write down a number because someone say it too fast or doesn't speak clearly.

Let's help out the ladies and leave a nice message with a clear number.

that many don't wish to answer calls at inappropriate times which is why I never call after work hours and on weekends unless otherwise told I am allowed to. I think it's mostly a matter that people forget or think we may already have the number. It's not that I don't wish to call people back- I DO!- it's just many times gentlemen don't leave their numbers and I get SO many calls. (sometimes strange ones too we don't wish to answer.) As far as hiring someone to answer my calls, I felt your comment was a bit rude. I only have one pussy (unfortunately) and wouldn't be able to take as many appts as an agency would.

Also- not to rant and rave- if you do call for a specific time and it is not available & you wish to still schedule for a future time, please make that known in the message!!! Just to help us girls out!!!
