Would really like some advise on the train...

I will be taking the train from Crystal City to Philly next week and need help
with my route, etc.  Of course, I sure don't want to get lost.

Feel free to email for those that have done this before to discuss this.

I am actually going for one evening

to visit a childhood girlfriend on Sat. the 8th (hence part of the train ride)...but will be heading to the airport/stadium area from the 9th to 13th.

It's been soo long since I have been on the train that it's scary, especially with luggage.  
However I figured out Amtrak to start and then the Septa.

Sounds like you'll be heading to Suburban station for part of the trip.  Suburban station is kind of like the main hub for Septa.  Pretty sure every regional rail train goes through there at one point or another.  It might seem like a big place at first, but it also helps simplify things.  There's basically a train to take you wherever you need to go.

You'll be fine :)  I'm not a Septa expert, but I can try to help if you have any other questions.
