Catch-22

I have seen several agency providers over time.
I would like to support the local economy but I am in a catch-22. Top rated providers are requiring references but they do not accept agencies.
preferred411 or date-check that they request also require provider references or you just become an honorary member which is not good enough...

So, I am back to seeing agency girls.

Am I the only one with this Catch-22?
It should not be this hard to support local economy. Whatever happened to providing work details for verification?

This has never been a problem for me. I'm curious as to which providers are locking you out?

I, too have not yet run into this problem?  Do you have reviews here on ter or elsewhere?  I have had indys look at my reviews here in order to help screen me.  You can't give them your username or password, but they can access your reviews.

it seems to be sufficient... but once when making a "date" I asked the provider why she did not check me out more... she replied that I did not act like a flake, nor did I act like LE, and the fact that I was very candid about who I was was somewhat refreshing, and she wanted to meet me...

attitude... it is mostly about attitude.

Alot of these ladies have a pretty good radar sense when it comes to setting up appointments.Sometimes it is a s simple as how comfortable they felt when talking to you on the phone.

Make us as comfortable as possible with your first email. Offer everything you can think of to a known provider. Show some type of "History", as you require of us. Would you withold information  on your resume if you were applying for a new position? A very nice position?
For those that are not comfortable releasing information, just move on. You have your rules, we have ours. No need to get nasty about it!

This bashing of providers because you couldnt get an appointment is getting a little old.
