I'd write it now (in Word or similar) so you don't lose the details or how you experienced it.  Then let it sit for a few days (at least). Then re-read, edit if necessary but in the end, submit it either in original or edited form.

If thats true, she sure doesn't need one more.  She'd appreciate it, but "tons" speak for themselves.
