Hotel versus Apartment

This has always been the age old question to ladies in this business “Should I get an apartment or use a hotel to host and entertain my guests?”
Gentlemen, do you feel more comfortable visiting a lady in an apartment or a hotel? Why?
What are some foreseeable pros and cons as a gentleman visiting a lady in ether situation?
Do you have a preference and if so, why?
Well I have been presented with a business proposition, a really good one actually, and I would like some feedback form you guys on the board before I make my final decision.
Thanks!

an apartment feels more comfortable to me and eliminates a lot of the concern about LE.  it also adds more of a personal touch...

Hotels are way too impersonal...ap't. adds that "homey" touch.  Also, too many people wandering about hotels, including undercover types, so personally, I'm always leary and on edge when I go to visit a provider in a hotel.  So apartment has my vote.

Now one for you to consider, Jayla...other residents.  If apartment layout is such that other tenants see lots of coming and going activity, how much risk would that entail for you?

each has advantages and disadvantages...

Example - if you get an apartment and LE decides to target you, it is difficult to get up and walk away - also - neighbors... they can be a rag tag bunch - and they may turn u in....

on the other hand, everything is very confidential... no staff to deal with, and certainly no ackward moments in the lobby... Also, you can "import" more of your personality -but that you also have to pay for that!  But the atmosphere is much more relaxed.

hotel rooms are nice.  You don't have to worry about "keeping the place up" and housekeeping - that is automatically done.  But, it is more expensive on a per diem basis.  but there is that pesky and sometimes nosy hotel staff....  have a good cover story... is all I can say.

Antoher plus for hotels - if the area gets "hot" you can always locate to a cooler climate... if the area has fewer folks... same...  you can to to the business....

just lots of things...

It depends.  My main concern is security.  People get busted at apartments when nosey neighbors complain; at hotels when the staff alerts LE.  I've stayed away from providers because I didn't like their set-up, but I've also visited providers repeatedly in apartments where I felt comfortable either because of the relationship the lady had with her neighbors, or because the entrance was well-secluded, etc.

You can have issues with both but I would say and apartment is best.  The apartment is really good in low traffic locations.  Too many people in hotels, especially CC.  High rise apartments are almost the same as hotels.  A nice apartment is the way to go.

LE.If you are in an apt they can sit there and watch you for a period of time and then when they go in for the bust you are a dead duck. In a hotel you stay in the room a day or maybe two and you are off to another hotel in another location.
The only thing I wonder about hotels is most girls and services use the two call system so when your guy is coming up be at the door ready to answer quickly. I can't count how many times I've stood in a hallway and had to either knock more than once or wait an awkward minute or so for the door to answer.

Apt is the way to go if you get the right set-up. Which should be in a nice area. Neighbors who are not nosey. A location with easy access and parking. A hotel brings more attention from people and lacks personal touches.

No matter where, I find it more comfortable being with a quality, well organized professional.

Someone, either the provider or the agency, that has the 'arrangements' in control, is what I try to seek.

Usually you can tell immediately by the flow of the security check, the flow of the two call, being punctual and the donation exchange.

The hobbyist has two heads and once the little one takes over apt or hotel does not matter.

Personnaly,  In these times it is the best provider you can find for the price you can spend.

Most of my hobbying is done in hotels when I am traveling and I am the host.
My preference is an apt over a hotel when I am visiting.
Yogi berra said it like this 90% of the game is mental the other half is physical.
90% is the provider the other half is mental.  But when the little head takes over nothing else matter.

I once seen a gent who was followed from another providers corner house in a high end housing track. The Le followed him unto the freeway, pulled hime over..After several god cop bad cop. He fessed up why he had been there. The man was told neighbors had complained about constand traffic and cars parked in front of thier home. People who do not belong. I also have a attorney friend. Once repped a lady who had a apratment. When the LE busted her. They can and will confiscate everything in that apartment. Furniture, money ..ect...
so I never host anywhere but a 3-4 star hotel in a biz area. But ypour profider must also look the part. If your provider stands in front of hotel half the day smoking..Of course she will be notoced. Remeber is the screening is correct. Then nobody else knows your there but here.
Most girls who are high volume will be the ones with issues with hotels. Then you need to mpve several times...I am more comftable on the move...
Catch me if you can...

Looking at it as someone who has been in both situations as well as commercial setups and renovated warehouses...the question for you to consider is traffic.  If you plan to use the apartment only once or twice every couple of days (with the right apartment setup) this can be ideal.  However, if you plan to use the location more frequently you should seriously consider hotels (as you can change if things get too hot).  Apartments have too many variables that you can't control - like who your neighbors are or if you have a really cool never home neighbor whose lease finishes shortly after you arrive - You could end up with a family with kids or homemaker or busy-body neighbor or worse yet a very attentive neighbor can also be pesky.  Here's an example that happened to me (many years ago):  I found a really nice place on South Street, I signed a one year lease and thought I had the perfect setup: the guys loved it, multiple entrances, phone system security access, no cameras, no guards, etc.  I was there less than 30days. There wasn't a lot of traffic but obviously there was too much because one day I came to the apartment and there was a note under my door.  "It must be wonderful that through your business you are able to afford to live in this complex.  However, you have the misfortune of living directly across from an FBI agent." Perhaps he was just trying to scare me (it worked), but I couldn't afford to assume he was.   The next day I packed my s%*t and left.  I ended up breaking my lease and paying through the rear (literally, lol) for the broken agreement.
Do yourself a favor, for now learn the hotel system and work it; and, as I know you will do anyway, make it as cozy and painless as possible for your visitors.

opportunity. I have a condo with a great location. I run my business, legit and all, out my home office in my second bedroom. Busy street, no one lives below me and the younger kids above me are in and out so much that I never see them.
I'd be curious to hear about this and maybe look into it with you. I'm thinking of spending some time for setting up actual business clients there. So I'd to be hobbying a little when in town.

Thanks for pointing this out. One time a hobbyist knocked on my door. My wife thought it was me and opened the door. They guy realized it was the wrong apartment and went to the Provider across the hallway from me. It was dead giveaway and my wife start the notice all the different men coming and going to her apartment. The provider across the hallway did have a guy who slept in another room as "protection".

A lot of good reasons favoring hotels already.

Here is another: what if a client turns out to be a psycho? With an apartment the perp now knows exactly where you are and what you are doing. They can stake out the place and make life hell for you and your legit clients.

Try to imagine the mind of bad client. Would they want to try something crazy in a hotel room with maids, security and lots of people all around all the time? If you really really need help, who would you rather call to help, hotel security or 911?
