here we go - ready for the ride.... last night I figured would be "party night" in philly.... so first I head to Crazy horse II... and was hoping to see the place when it is lively... Bwahahahaha!  dead... Dead I say... crickets were in there.... NO GALS worth mentioning... and worse a $10 entry fee....   Then I head to another SC.... up the road... and while I have my faves in there and usually just sit and wait for them to be available.... all the new gals were coming up to me asking if I was up for a dance... why? there were few patrons in the place.... wow!  and so it went... so, you think it quite here?  let me tell you, EVERYONE and their dog went to the shore.... and why do they call it shore here?  where I am from it is the Beach!  sheese.

your right Bizz, I'm from Boston.. where we go to the beach.. I lived in Florida and we went to the beach..  Shore?????  Its spooky with noone around

Where I grew up it was 'the beach' too, but that usually meant a lake, or possibly one of the Great Lakes...

To make matters worse, there's the town of Jersey Shore in upstate PA -- many miles from the ocean!  LOL!  

H-burg isn't quite dead -- I could go walk through  Artsfest along the river and check out the scene, see the pretty young things out for a walk.  Last night was fun, my favorite bartender was celebrating her birthday, bought her a drink and had fun with her for a bit, then hit the SC for some fun lapdances with a few of my faves there.  What I should do is get off my lazy butt and do some yard work...

Goin down the shore is bigger than just going to the beach.  For the guy from Boston it's like going to the Cape.  While at the shore (or cape) there are many things to do including going to the beach.  If you're from Philly goin down the shore is a way of life, it's your childhood memories, it's your escape from the ties of everyday life..... :)
