But at the median rate, the ladies range widely from a look of 5 to 9 so they are not apple to apple comparison. I know I've been away for 2 yrs, but have things really changed that much. I've been taking a peek around at other girls prices and when did $300 hr turn into $350. I know many of the girls are very cute, but in today's economy I would have thought more of them would cut you guys a brake. I would like to hear some other opions on the matter...

Individuals have a multitude of justifications for their pricing. Be it superstitious, a random shot in the dark, copy cat or a reflection of one's self esteem and inner perception of value. IMHO it comes down to your personal and/or business belief systems.
In our case, our pricing is based upon three principles.
A) What is our target audience?
B) What is the social class of our target audience?
C) What price point represents 90% of the market within the psychological perceptions of our target audience.
That's it right there. We know the demographics, statistics and psychological profile of what our target audience is and we tend not to go outside that. Just because you have a hard on and fist full of dollars doesn't mean we're going to do business with you. To take such a mindset would not only make me a piece of e-coli but violate my oath to the associates and clients to protect them. Is this rigid? Yes, however it works for Dreams because "our guys" tend to have shared value systems which are in line with the operation values and mission. For me, this is my career choice and a business. Men (generally speaking) understand business. In a way it's classic hunter gather, men are hunters. Hunt it, kill it take it home, we're done.
We're here to meet the needs of our clients, do it in an honorable fashion and do business, however only under very specific conditions.
All of these principles in our case have influence over the end result you call pricing.
But that just our methodologies and everyone as I pointed out has theirs.

My normal price range has always in the 250-400 realm unless there's some special circumstance that I felt justified the extra expense. I'll gladly pay more if a girl offers special services like taking pics or if it's one of my all time favorite porn stars or an under the radar fitness model.
