It has been 2 weeks since my disasterous Friday night. Posting on the board with questions about the perception of Philly by ladies of the hobby.
My observation is that the "tone" of the Philly Board has changed. And I have also noticed that some of the traveling ladies and agencies are listening - and willing to, at least, give us a go. I've also noticed the number of posts and the tone of the posts, for the most part, are more playful, and flirtatious.... ALL GOOD changes.
If we are good boys, I would be willing to bet, it will get even better! Guys, lets not blow it. and resident ladies, remember, the better the hobbying atmosphere, in general, the better your business is likely to be.
to all, please be respectful - if you call and make an appointment - by all means keep the appointment, but if you cannot make it, call the lady on the phone and let her know.
2nd (and this is to ME!) BSD, please, if you are out with a lady, let her know that you think that she is the bees knees! You should get back to bringing her something special for the evening (candles, gift card, or nice bath products...etc). Remember, you are going to spend quality time - with a quality lady, perhaps you should plan the time - and the amount of time accordingly.
Gents, be well groomed - I've never ever had a problem - but I brush my teeth, comb my hair, and take a shower before showing up!
Don't hastle the lady... either on the phone or in person. it tis, what it tis.
Ladies - we would appreciate the same in return...
If we keep to this - perhaps more will come our way.... or at least that is my plan - !
From the responses I received, the above was a general consensus (both from locals and traveling providers).
From the traveling only, I heard the following:
It is difficult to come, obtain a room (often above 150-200 a night, pay for meals and travel, only to have maybe one client. Gents, if a lady posts that she will be here - then by all means reserve time with her to let her know we do wish her here. AND then when she comes to see you, don't be a no show - that costs the lady MONEY! The ladies cannot read our minds... With prebooking they will know if they are likley to have enough business to pay for the trip.
Finally, we all know why we are here, and what we want, be truthful about what is offered and what is not (to both hobbiests and providers). (for the gents $$$ and for the ladies - services)
if you did not have a good time, ask if you yourself contributed to it.... and quit blaming the other party, unless there was no effort to provide what was agreed upon.
To all who responded - thank you...

I have also noticed a change on the board. Appears there are more ladies visiting or at least announcing their visit, there's more compliments and explanations, and a significant positive increase in tone and demeanor. I hope there's recognition of the positive change and there's continuing demonstration that this town is a good place to do business and have a good time.
You cannot begin to imagine the depths of dispair we (my family) found ourselves in when we moved here. Philly cured a lot of our problems... and even though we (my ex and I are divorced) Philly had nothing to do with that. That darkness was started long before I even knew where the "blue route" is....
yea, we've problems - but WHAT A CAST of CHARACTERS! there is nothing like boat house row in the spring. The view from the top of city hall is stunning.... and Pats (or Genos) - what's not to like!????
Go Eagles.
WTF? Are you talking to an 8th grade health class? Get real. Your post is an insult to the guys who have been hobbying longer than you've been born. Roll one for me.
Guess you've not been following the threads. Some of us are kinda trying to get new providers in the area... and keep quality locals around.
As far as hobbying longer than I've been born... well, I started hobbying when I was in my 30s in the 1980s....
so I guess you missed my musings about truck stops as well....
and yes, I am talking about an 8th grade health class... (and manners) cause know what - I've, on more than one occasion, been the guy who is "next in line" with some of the ladies when she was just with an APE! The guy was insulting and caused the lady considerable hurt. I have sat in a session when for the 1st 30 min, the lady was crying, cause of some low life.
I've been at work, when a provider/friend calls and has been upset by the rudeness and uncleanliness of her client.
Dude, just because you've a couple more "posted" reviews than I, that does not mean that you've seen more gals than I. First of all, I used to post under a different name and second, I go UTR with some of the ladies that I meet... as I did this past weekend... See the post below! and finally, I hobbied BEFORE TER was around.
Sheese.... longer than I've been born.... Bwahahahaha!! I hobbied BEFORE Al "invented the internet" Gore.

Point well taken on both sides but I've beenin the hobby for a few years now and I have to say that what Gude brings up has been noted several times. For those of us who are more experieinced, appearance and hygiene are givens. I'm from DC and I come to Philly and NJ regularly. This is a common complaint from many providers. I think that Dude's recommendations are with the best intentions. Give him a break.
I'd be more interested in finding out about the agency that is in the news today for being busted.
32 reviews and how many times have you been white listed? BDude's three seems to trump your 0. Try being more positive. Your last few messages on the board have been the pits. You must be a Flyers fan. BTW did you catch the KO on Fedoruk last night?
Keep it up BDude. You just may be able to get Philly turned around. I'm sure that the ladies appreciate your gentle reminder.
...it'll ruin the good vibe we have goin here! I can't believe how bad they are!
As for BSD's reminder, if you feel the post does not apply to you, don't give it a second thought, but in this case, how many providers specifically post on their sites some blurb about being well groomed? Probably enough to warrant a post every now & then.
