Went to the classiest (IMHO) AMP again this week. Lots of LE driving by (more than normal, I know there is a station nearby). My hostess expressed concern about the posts on the Internet and was uneasy about drawing attention to this previously low profile gem. Also lots of traffic inside, with guys stacked up in the kitchen, waiting rooms, etc. I'm getting a feeling so much publicity may turn off a terrific service. Can we have some discretion, please?
When I post regarding amps, I have begun to only name the provider, not the location. But then again TER makes you put in a phone number and website which lists the amp. Wonder if that makes a difference.
Unfortunately,it is only a matter of time before this place gets busted like other good AMP's in the city. CH2 is the best thing going but all the publicity on this board can't be a good thing.
I also received concern by my CH2 hostess about information on the internet. She told me this information is bringing negative publicity. I posted two reviews of this AMP in the past; to inform sincere hobbyists of a good thing. I will not post any more reviews of this AMP. Let's try to keep a good things going by not reveiling unecessary details of CH2 to people we don't know. CH2 is the best thing going in in Philly. Let us keep it that way.
