She's a TOP notch provider. you guys are driving AWAY the talent in Philly. I was told by 3 VERY reliable sources that she had an illness, and a few guys were very disrepectful of her time. (Refused to leave without drama). The cheap shots taken at her on this board were just plain wrong!
I suspect, she will be back when well, and that problem guys wil be treated as such. Others will be rewarded!
I'm trying to help this board. Disparaging the cream of Philly providers is not useful to you guys.
Thank you Fuzzy for saving the Philly guys from themselves. The thead below was unraveling into a gripefest that Philly has become noted for. These things have a way of escalating into a "I heard bad things about her in Philly" tag that many providers can simply avoid by not coming here. Time and schedule snafus are simply part of the game. If you can't handle it , or your time is that valuable, maybe you should be doing something else.
Only in Philly would we let a great provider with 50+ reviews and an average 9-9 score get bad mouthed by a guy who was simply dissapointed because his appointment was canceled. SHIT happens its apart of the game. Man up and deal with it. It happened to me just last week . It happens to all of us. Lets try not to make the Philly board the board of BITCHES(no dissrepect meant to the ladies)
You know, I wanted to let this one die down and not add to the firestorm that I started. Now maybe your comment was directed to someone else on the thread who bitched about Ashley cancelling. However, since I started the thread and you were not specific about whom you were addressing your comment to ….
If you read my post and the follow-up, you would have seen that I was not criticizing Ashley. I gave no drama to her scheduler when we talked an hour after the appointment was scheduled to start. When the scheduler stated that Ashley couldn't call security to get the guy out of the room, I agreed that she was in a bind with no easy way out. Her scheduler told me that this is a problem that is particular to Philly.
My point was to raise the issue that if you book an hour and try to extend it into much more without paying, then you're causing problems for the provider and the next guy. I also wanted to hear from the providers, especially the ones that visit, whether they perceive this to be a problem specific to Philly. According to Victoria Jolie, who weighed in on the issue, this isn't so much an issue related to Philly as it is to independents. Guys think that it easier to take advantage of the independent she doesn't have a service calling to say the hour has ended. In this case, according to her scheduler, the guy wouldn’t even leave after 45 minutes with the scheduler calling the room through the hotel operator.
So, yeah, I was disappointed. And thanks for telling me that SHIT happens. Guess what, it’s not just in this hobby but in everyday life. If the person on the other end is trying their best and matters are beyond their control, then you roll with the punches. Ashley’s record speaks for itself. This was something beyond her control.
But just so I am absolutely clear with everyone (especially Ashley, if she reads this), I had NO problem with Ashley. There was nothing that she could do to get the jackass to leave after his time was up. I was NOT bad mouthing her. I was trying to get people to discuss the issue of realizing that while it’s nice to have a girl not be a clock watcher, in the end, unless you’re going to pay for the whole night, she is there to provide a service but needs to move on to the next guy. Vic, if you read this, pass my apologies along to your friend Ashley for what resulted from my misguided attempt to promote discussion about “Staying Too Long.” Now let this be the final word on the ridiculous Ashley bashing and let’s hope that she will come back to visit again.
it was getting too dramatic. (Especially when providers start "eating their own"). Also, Ms. Taylor's computer was down, and thus, she could not defend herself.
If we want providers not to be clock watchers, we have to watch the clock. Those who abuse that privilege--e.g. those who don't "know" that their time was up 5 minutes before--are not fair to the provider or the next client. I think that those who abuse the time should be thrown out of the room, but most of the best girls--including Ashley Taylor--don't have people to do that for them. That was the original subject matter of the thread, and that is my view, which I consider a fair one for all concerned.
There are many fair opinion in the thread, including the original poster who raised the concern for bad time keeper. Neither the client should stay beyond the hour, nor the provider should rush the client out before the hour.
