It is her body that she can choose who can see and will not see. We don't know the circumstances why she decided to make the choice. Best just to leave it alone. This came up on the NYC board.

I would say center city is your best bet-  some stay at the airport- convenient to 95- but mostly cheaper hotels and not really anyplace you can get to without driving
