Second Choice
So I've been fairly quiet lately about my rather more nefarious escapades. There's a reason for that. No one likes to talk about how great something is and then realize later that perhaps they were the only one who thought it was great. Case in point, I met someone about three weeks ago that was PERFECT for me. Almost all of the things that I consider essential in a prospective boyfriend were there. He had the height, the looks, the swagger, the personality, and better than that, he was a raging animal in bed with me. Not gonna lie, it was mother fucking spectacular. He agreed that it was, and we've kept in touch, but he confessed to me about a week ago, "I really like you, but at this point in my life I've gotta be emotionally responsible. You're the kind of girl that can become a major distraction, and right now with my career I have to focus on it. I can spend time with you when I am able to, but if I am with you too much I know I'm going to want more, and that's just not a good move for me right now."
Do I believe that to be true? Yes, I do. It was really explosive. While I am disappointed that he does not want to really pursue a relationship with me I am impressed that he was truthful, and concise in his reasons why. Everyone has priorities, and I am not so egotistical that I believe his world should instantly revolve around me. I told him we are both very busy, and we can just get together when we have time, but what it turned into was him texting me at midnight or one am asking me to come over. Now, I know y'all know I am nobody's fool. I am not a booty call (unless you're a really fucking hot girl and I love your boobies.)
Suffice to say I've let that one go. So the middle of this week I am entertaining at a local swank hotel. I am was not exceptionally busy and went out and had some fun, and on the way back to my room stopped off at the bar to have a glass of wine before heading to bed. It was about 10 pm. When I get to the bar there are 6 men, and one woman sitting there. Immediately one of the guys starts to chat me up. He's THAT guy. You know the one. The one that has to be the loudest, tell the most stories, say that he's done that too, but wait let him tell his story because it's so much better. Granted, he's as hot as a snowflake in hell, but I know the type, and have no interest in moving in being a notch on his bedpost, and a name he can't remember. (What the hell, as if he would forget getting fucked by me, yeah right he'd definitely remember.)
