Just to let you guys know...
Since the M&G was cancelled I did decide on a new date and removed the person/s in question. I will probably move it to a new location.
For those who didn't get the memo, since it was a late notice cancellation, I still showed up at the place and 6 people showed up. As planned we did have drinks and went to a gentleman's club and had a great time.
Unfortunately, the series of unfortunate events had thrown us off along with the inclusion of the bad weather. I can assure you that the next time this happens that it will go through!
Oddly enough as I was sending the final e-mail out the night before, I had a very uneasy feeling and should have trusted my instincts. My sources are VERY reliable and I would never steer anybody wrong. I ALWAYS look out for everyone's well-being, given that the safety of the community is my number one priority.
I thank those who have offered me their well wishes and kind e-mails. It is always appreciated. The time and effort I have put into making this happen will not go to waste. I did have a few hundred dollars in losses, and I am sure you will all make it up to me next time.
Nonetheless, let this not spoil the next M&G!!!

Well I have been looking forward to my first M&G since it was first posted. So it goes with out saying “I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED”. Since we all care or should care about the safety of all I believe the two bad apples should be know to all of us. Since they are unable to obey the rules “keep mouth shut” it is our interest to know who (or handles) they are. If they are hobbyist they should be at the very least suspended from the boards, It they are ladies then I for one would not want to deal with them.
I know I may pay the wrath of some of you for this post but if we can’t expect people to keep mouth shut then we are all endanger. I may never know who and may be I’m not the one who should. But by putting the safety of those who were going to attend at risk they should have to pay some kind of price for it.
that is very disturbing! Heck we didnt make the cut off in time! But, still that may ruin it for future possibilities. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrr
You won't pay any wrath on my account, as I totally agree with you. I wasn't planning on attending, but I still find it really objectionable that 2 people saw fit to "out" this affair. If it's guys, I don't much care...just would like to know so I can ignore their reviews. But if it's ladies, then I really do care, since those would be the types I'd definitely ignore in my hobbying pursuits.
Sorry for those of you who were let down, and really do hope the Concierage can see fit to let us know who the bad apples are.
I agree. For all our sakes, let's find out what sensitive information was released and who released it...
come on...people really know how to screw things up. i am in the same boat as the other guy that missed the cut off. and i was really hoping i would see the next on in time to make it in, but who knows now. if you don't like what people are doing just leave us alone i am sure you are not perfect.
Dudes ! if you really wish to improve this hobby community - M&Gs are a great way for us to meet and have fun - but also to know who we might be able to help out and get help from should each of us need it. This is the SECOND event where folks acted in a self-destructive manner - and caused the cancellation of an event. That is turly sad.
I should add that having attended forums in the past - it is always interesting fun and kinda "normal"! my only question - why would you rain on our parade? makes no sense - none.
Been away for awhile and would love to have traveled up to Philly for a M&G. A great excuse to make the drive and get some first hand feedback from the locals. It is a shame that a few do not value the community as for what it should be. Let me know when it may be rescheduled.
I was about to leave the house and decided to take a quick check of the board - I'm glad I did.
I was worried about people no showing due to the weather. Then somebody goes and screws this up for us. I ahd taken off from work and rearranged my schedule and then this.
I agree with the other posts that some more info on the offending parties is desired.
Now, what/who am I going to do tonight? Ladies any ideas?

I figured some would not get the word and show up. Hope you had a nice time.
Given waht I saw on the news, I'm glad I was not out on the roads.
Looking forward to the new date and having a nice evening with some lovely ladies.
I was one of those who didn't get the message -- I left work at noon to make the drive, which actually wasn't bad at all, the sleet didn't start until later. If I had been smart, I would have checked Evite before I left, LOL! Anyway, we made the best of it, I had fun at the strip club (I always do!), and Solana was able to save my trip by setting me up with Eva later that night. Crappy weather aside, it was a very successful trip (and a much-needed respite from work). I think now I need to take a nap, though...LOL!
