THE RED VIOLIN

The story of the RED VIOLIN is an intriguing love story. It is a story of love lost and and then found. This mysterious and exciting story, tracing the history of a well-made violin across three centuries and five countries in three continents.

Antonio Stradivari, who lovingly made his instruments in his small shop in Cremona, Italy centuries ago, remains the most famous violin maker of all time. Not long after its creation, the instrument appeared to vanish from the radar screen; no one knows where or to whom the violin belonged for more than 200 years.

This absence spawned any number of historians, writers, journalists, critics as well as filmmakers, to speculate on the violin's mysterious history.

The RED VIOLIN is unique and exquisite in its design, a design that earned the historic Stradivarius violin the nickname "Red Mendelssohn" in 1930. Varnished with Rose madder, made from the root of the madder plant, producing a color thought to resemble was used distinctive red coats of the British Army.

The RED VIOLIN resurfaced in 1990 and was sold in auction in for 1.7 million dollars by an anonymous buyer. But to me, the storyline is about the voyage that love take one on, rather than the journey of a masterful instrument.

Have you ever lost love, or even a true passionate lover? One whose connection you've longed to recapture and have seldom managed to find. The elusive energy and understanding that exist when two individuals are in complete synchronization, creating a symbiotic balance of yin and yan.

The story of THE RED VIOLIN represents a reconnection to love, passion, and the beautiful music that can be created when, you and l moved in perfect harmony.

Together, let's create an original melody that soothes the soul and captures the heart, and harkens you back or teleports you forward through time and delivers you to a moment not soon forgotten.

The often sought, but seldom found RED VIOLIN is now on display at the DOLL HOUSE.
