I'm out in Richmond, VA now.  I have been trolling the ads and have found that just about everyone is saying their location is the West End or West Broad.  I went out there today.  But, I don't get it.  Why aren't they more evenly dispersed through out the area?  Does anyone know why this might be?  I would love to understand the trend.

More men with the extra income to do this live and/or work in the West End than in any other area of Richmond.

And, since most of them are either ditching work or their wives to go see a girl, the closer she is to them, the less time it takes them and therefore the more likely they are to make the appointment.

As a secondary reason, I think there's also the perception among Richmonders (accurate or not) that there are almost no hotels in the West End where you're likely to be robbed in the parking lot or have your car stolen or something, while the same can't be said for other areas around here.  I know I personally would be less likely to call a girl in the East End (even though it's more convenient for me) because I can picture at least two dozen seedy motels she might be in.

Girls' preferences for clients might be a factor too...demographically, I think the West End has more white and white-collar men than other areas.

I think the near-West End near Broad & Staples Mill or Broad & Dickens is probably the best area, because it's close enough for people who work downtown and not TOO bad for people on Southside via I-195.

What the other person replies is pretty spot on.  I have lived in both the downtown area and near the west end.  Personally, I wouldn't go visit someone that was on the east side.  Besides, if you know what you are doing, you can get a room on the west end relatively cheap.

Thanks for the reply, guys.  It was really enlightening and exactly what I wanted to know.
