Vacation cities?

What are some cities that are maybe a little off the beaten path here on TER, but are typical vacation spots?

For example, I see a lot of posts for Hawaii and Alaska. Where else might a lady go on vacation, and get a romp or two in?

....Jackson's Hole,, etc.  In other words, any city/town that has great hiking, cross country and downhill skiing.  Must offer great lodging, and restaurants.

Restaurants do not need to be four or five star, but they must reflect the local flavor.  Krabloonik in Aspen/Snowmass is one, and the Main Street Cafe and Bakery is another great example.  Little Annie's is always on my to do list.

Three places down South where a hobbyist can usually enjoy himself are (in no particular order): Hilton Head, SC (and nearby Savannah, GA); Gatlinburg, TN (many girls travel from nearby Knoxville), and Myrtle Beach, SC.

None of these would seem like the greatest area for hobbying/providing at first glance... however, I've enjoyed numerous encounters in all three.
