My girlfriend is considering using the patch for birth control.....she is concerned about the side effect of weight gain.....anyone have any experience with the patch?

I used to be on the patch, I stopped taking it after hearing all the increased health risks it can cause, higher then the pill.

The side effect that I noticed was extreme breast tenderness for the first month I was on it.
